MEET WILDFIRE TINA
Party Experience Curator
Wildfire Tina is a belly dancer and fire performer in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She began taking belly dancing classes at a community center in Lubbock, Texas, while she was in college and spent many years nurturing the desire to pursue performance by attending drum jams and Renaissance festivals.
In the fall of 2016 she saw a fire performance by Solar Rain at Texas Renaissance Faire and the spark turned into a flame — Wildfire Tina went home and purchased her first pair of fire fans. She also began taking classes at Crescent Moon Belly Dance Studio in Fort Worth, Texas, where she lived at the time. Her passion and dedication to those beginning classes led to incredible opportunities, including dancing with The Texas Jewels and The Crescent Jewels for about three years.
As a fire performer, Wildfire Tina has performed solo and worked with several teams. From birthday parties to massive stage productions to teaching workshops, she combines her skill as a dancer with her talent at fire prop manipulation.
She co-founded a female fire performer collective called FemPyre in 2017 and performed with PyroTex at Burning Man 2018. She was the assistant director and performed with Aruna Fire at Burning Man 2019.
Perhaps most notably, Wildfire Tina coordinated a monthly event called Fort Worth Fire Beats, which celebrated its 2-year anniversary in April 2020 right as the pandemic put it on pause. It was the first event of it’s kind in Fort Worth with a permitted fire circle. Fire Beats showcased a variety of performing arts and supported a diverse, inclusive community every month.

She has danced with Mosaic Dance Company in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and currently co-leads Santa Fe Flow Collective.
When she’s not performing, Tina is a full time high school educator, a parent, and a social media content creator. She’s a gardener, a yoga teacher, a community activist, and a poet.
Tina is a licensed Flame Effects Operator in the state of Texas, and she has acquired permits from the fire marshal's offices in Texas and New Mexico. She carries a $5 million general aggregate insurance policy for performer insurance coverage in the United States.
